separated the combatants at game's end. The Hershey Squirts won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
Johnny Cueto(2-0) gave Hershey a solid outing. He allowed 10 hits and 1 walk
in 7 and 2/3 innings. Toronto had 10 hits in the game while Hershey had 5,
but Hershey had the more timely hits.
Cueto was helped out by Kenley Jansen who recorded his 2nd save. Jake
Arrieta(0-1) was the loser. He surrendered 4 runs and 5 hits in 7 and 1/3
innings.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Mitch Moreland. He laced a base-knock bringing in two
baserunners in the 4th inning and smacked a three-run homer in the 5th
inning. For the game Toronto out-hit Hershey 12 to 9.
The winning pitcher was Sonny Gray(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 8 and 1/3
innings. Shelby Miller(0-2) absorbed the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 11
hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.

Hershey Squirts by the score of 3 to 2 at Yankee Stadium.
Bassitt(1-0) was simply too much for the Hershey batters. He was stingy on
the mound, allowing just 1 hit and 1 walk in 7 innings. Bassitt whiffed an
impressive total of 8 Hershey batters. Hershey threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short.
Bassitt got help from Drew Storen who was credited with his 1st save. The
loss was charged to Garrett Richards(1-2). He gave up 10 hits and 3 walks in
8 innings.
