Game 1
Tor 6-7-0 (A Sanchez, Farquhar) NT 3-6-1 (Fister)
Brantley's 3-run HR in the 8th breaks a 3-3 tie to win it for the Maple Leaves. Martinez and Saunders also homered for Toronto in support of Sanchez, who had 10 Ks. LaRoche and Werth had solo HRs for the Lumberjocks.
Game 2
Tor 7-12-0 (Gray, Street) NT 4-7-2 (Smyly, Neshek, Salas)
Harrison's 2-run 2B and Brantley's 2-run HR back-to-back in the 9th decided an otherwise tight contest. The Maple Leaves had built a 3-0 lead behind 3 solo HRs, 2 by Martinez, the other by Garcia. But NT erased that lead with a LaRoche 3-run HR in the 6th. The Lumberjocks loaded the bases in the 9th, chasing Gray, but Street snuffed the rally as the game ended on a DP.
Game 3
Tor 2-7-3 (Lynn) NT 1-3-0 (Teheran, Doolittle)
Lynn was strong, going the distance and striking out 10, supported by a Martinez RBI single and a Brantley RBI. Teheran was equally strong for NT, striking out 4. McCutchen had an RBI 2B for the Lumberjocks, his only hit of the series.
Series result: 3-0, Toronto.
Good two series Pat. Kevin thanks for the invite.
